Teaching Philosophy

To help me further my mission, I have developed four dimensions of goals that I strive to build in each and every student. Contrary to popular opinion, education is not just about passing classes with straight A's, but developing as a unique, solution oriented citizen of the world..
The desire to know is a built in part of the human being. Education is therefore the process of developing the human being as whole, integrating spiritual, psychological and social dimensions that benefit the individual, the family, and society.
Academic Goals
The aim is to have intellectual development and curiosity over knowledge.  I strive to have my students build desire for further investigation by utilizing technology as a tool in the process.
Social Goals
Students need to develop an avid concern for humanity and seek to become not only a part of the global village, but effective leaders in technology. They will be able to create solutions for common problems that exist.
Moral & Ethical Development Goals
My students strive to develop a commitment to truth and values. Students understand that using technology is a risk and requires ethical and responsible growth. They also understand that technology should only be used as a tool and not used as an extension of the individual.
Personal Goals
Living in an era of excuses and instant gratification, I find this goal the most difficult to attain. Students need to understand the necessity to accept responsibility for one’s decisions and their consequences. Additionally, they learn that once they meet their goals, they will start to develop new ones.
